Various tales of bucolic Arcadia, also known as Idylls by ancient Greek poet Theocritus, have been imprinted in an attempt to make utopia a real place again.
By interpreting Arcadia's concept of utopia as shown in Thomas Cole's paintings, the project seeks to investigate spatial and computational design circumstances. The created scenery is described as a surreal utopian landscape, with characteristics of both antiquity and pastoralism. A collection of stories from the past, inspired by the Pythia and the Omphalos of Delphi, serves as the foundation for the development of a new reality.
